2-Year-Old Airlifted To Boston Hospital After Falling Off Shopping Cart In Sudbury: Officials

A 2-year-old child was airlifted to a hospital on Sunday, Nov. 19, after falling off of a shopping cart in Sudbury, according to officials.

Firefighters responded to Sudbury and rushed the child in an ambulance to a helicopter waiting at Wayland Town Hall, the Wayland Fire Department said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

The toddler was flown on a Life Flight to Boston.

Police in Sudbury are investigating, and have ruled it an accident.

Authorities did not release any further details on the child’s medical condition or how they were injured.
